Explore the Wonders of Tarangire and Ngorongoro: A 2-Day Safari Adventuren

Day 1: Game Drives in Tarangire National Park

Morning
Begin your adventure with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your safari guide who will drive you directly to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is famous for its vast elephant herds, giant baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. You will embark on a game drive, spotting wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. Lunch

Stop for a relaxing lunch by the Tarangire River, where you can enjoy the scenic views and watch wildlife in the distance.
Afternoon
After lunch, continue your afternoon game drive in Tarangire, exploring different parts of the park. Following the game drive, your guide will take you to Mto wa Mbu for an overnight stay at Fig Tree Lodge (camping). This charming location offers a peaceful atmosphere and is perfect for unwinding after your first day of safari.

Optional Activity:
In the evening, you can choose to go on a night game drive in Lake Manyara or enjoy a sundowner overlooking the magnificent Great Rift Valley.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

Early Morning
After an early breakfast, you will head out to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders. This massive volcanic caldera offers a unique ecosystem and a high concentration of wildlife. Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the crater, where you may encounter elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, zebras, and the rare black rhino. The floor of the crater is teeming with life, thanks to its permanent water sources that sustain over 25,000 large mammals. Midday

Continue exploring the crater’s diverse landscapes—from lush grasslands to forested areas and wetlands, all within the caldera. You may also have a chance to spot the Masai people, who coexist peacefully with the wildlife and graze their cattle within this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Afternoon
After the game drive, your guide will begin the drive back to Arusha. Depending on your preferences, you can either fly back to Zanzibar or stay overnight in Arusha. End of Tour
